Install pnpm and Yarn

The two popular alternatives to npm, installed globally with npm itself.

Install pnpm
Terminal
```
npm install -g pnpm
```
Needs Node.js first.
Install Yarn
Terminal
```
npm install -g yarn
```

Check it worked

Check the versions
Terminal
```
pnpm --version && yarn --version
```

Undo it

Uninstall both
Terminal
```
npm uninstall -g pnpm yarn
```

Install pnpm
Terminal · Ubuntu / Debian
```
npm install -g pnpm
```
Needs Node.js first. Using nvm avoids needing sudo here.
Install Yarn
Terminal · Ubuntu / Debian
```
npm install -g yarn
```

Check it worked

Check the versions
Terminal · Ubuntu / Debian
```
pnpm --version && yarn --version
```

Undo it

Uninstall both
Terminal · Ubuntu / Debian
```
npm uninstall -g pnpm yarn
```

npm install -g pnpm
```
